Word: On Cesc and Barcelona, by Zubizarreta
"Signing Cesc will be very difficult. The only solution would have been that he wouldn't have left."
Zubizarreta, Barca's sports director

Being in Stockholm means an extremely intensive workload that gives no chance to follow the daily news of the football world. On my way back to Karlshamn I had lot to pickup. Yet this specific phrase caught my attention most. Zubi said many things in the past two weeks that we can praise, including his remark that we will ALWAYS analyze what we have within our youth farm before making any transfer decisions. If you put this last statement with that, it inspires comfort and confidence that if the actions fulfilled the words, there will never be any concerns.
I've already voiced the question about the truth of Cesc's operation: Is it true that the club needs him and uses the players to tap the target, or is it Cesc who is desperate to move and he is using his friends -and powerful figures in Barca's squad- to put pressure on the club to make the buying decision. And my question is still as valid as before: Who is tapping who?
In another news -that you know more about than I do- Barcelona played the next preseason game and thanks to our friend Jnice I will watch it later today after downloading it. I will make a ramble on the youth of our club after the preseason games to discuss their contributions, potentials, and the expectations we can have in that regard, as a respond to questions raised in the comments' session.
